Tips and tricks for a successful popcorn fundraiser.
Popcorn is the main fundraiser for Scouting Colorado, and is designed to help Units fund their program year. Pack 545 does not require Cub Scouts to raise popcorn funds, however, those Scouts who do participate earn 25% of their total sales placed into a “Cub Account.” These funds can be used to help offset next year’s dues, buy uniforms, or pay for registration fees associated with summer camps and Scouting activities – utilization of your funds are at your/Scout’s discretion.
Incentives
To further enhance the fundraising season, both Scouting Colorado Council and Pack 545 have incentives to help Scouts work towards goals and get celebrated along the way.IncentivesPopcorn, pizza, pies, and prizes! This year’s incentives include:

How do I start?

How can my Scout prepare?
Encourage your Scout to create a fundraising goal to work towards. Whether that goal is a specific dollar amount, an experience like summer camp, or one of the many incentives, having a goal to share with potential donors can also get them excited to support.
Trail’s End created short videos to prepare Scouts for popcorn season. The Pack 545 website has the training videos located at the bottom of the popcorn page for your convenience.
